welcome

Welcome to the first entry!!

Church was so uplifting this morning! But then it always is! I took my camera along today thinking to take a picture of Marjorie’s flowers for the first blog entry. She brings flowers from her garden and they always look so beautiful, especially when the sun is shining on them. But instead of flowers she brought along two of her granddaughters, which of course was even better!

Luke and Laurie were there again with baby Millie just one month old. Such a gorgeous contented baby and wonderful to see them all in church as a family.

Our next door neighbour popped in with a card saying that the folks in St. Andrew’s would be praying for us as they knew we would be struggling after the loss of Steve and his family. That was a great encouragement too. Today was our third Sunday without Steve and Tim and their families after their call to Ladyfield in Chippenham. Of course we miss them terribly but we feel sure they will be blessed and be a blessing in this fresh corner of God’s Vineyard.

This morning John preached on Psalm 73 and was clear in his message as he always is. "As for me, it is good for me to draw near to God." Then we had a time of communion and finally a time for fellowship over a hot drink.

Do please pray for us as we seek the way forward in face of so many uncertainties. Or better still drop us an email or come along next Sunday! We would love to see you. If you have young children and would like them to be taught a bible story and songs during the sermon then please contact us through the website (cc-cc.org).

Thankyou for reading!
